Our Commitment

    Our Ethical AI Pledge

    Effective date: 14 October 2025help@photome.online

At Photome.online we build AI that enhances photos without replacing identity. These principles guide product, policy, and operations.

    1) Authenticity First

    • Enhance, not fabricate. We improve lighting, color, clarity, and composition.
    • Identity preservation. We do not intentionally alter core facial structure, natural skin tone, or apparent age.
    • No deepfakes. No synthetic personas to impersonate real people.
For rare safety, fraud, or legal reasons we may block or degrade outputs that violate these rules.

    2) Privacy by Design

    • Default deletion. Uploaded and generated images are deleted by default within ~24 hours unless you opt to retain, we must preserve for fraud/abuse, or law requires longer.
    • No training on your photos without opt-in. Aggregated telemetry and quality metrics may be used to improve systems without identifying you.
    • Data minimization. We collect only what is needed to run the service, fight abuse, and take payment.

Details live in our Privacy Policy.

    3) User Control and Ownership

    • You own your photos and enhanced outputs.
    • Limited license to operate. You grant us a temporary, narrow license to process your files to deliver the service and support. It ends when files are deleted.
    • Export and deletion. Request account data or deletion where applicable by emailing help@photome.online.

    4) Fairness and Bias Mitigation

    • Routine prompt and template audits across diverse skin tones and features.
    • User feedback loop and red-team tests to catch failures.
    • Inclusive design reviews before template release.

    5) Safety and Misuse Prevention

    • Blocklists for illegal, hateful, sexual, or child-related content.
    • Quotas, rate limits, and anomaly detection to prevent abuse and identity misuse.
    • Cooperation with lawful requests where mandated.

    6) Responsible Innovation

    • Rollout with staged testing and kill-switches.
    • Clear change logs for material policy updates.
    • Independent reviews where practical.

    7) Reporting

Report issues, bias, or safety concerns: help@photome.online.

This pledge is principles-based and may evolve. The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern in case of conflict.

    8) Template Design Principles

    • Identity-preserving rules baked in: No changes to facial bone structure, eye spacing/shape, nose width/shape, lip shape, jawline, or natural skin tone. No age regression or gender alteration.
    • Quantitative specs: Each template defines composition, pose range, lighting direction/intensity/CCT, background depth, and color grade tolerances.
    • Guardrails and blocks: Nudity, minors, impersonation, hateful or illegal content are blocked.
    • Pre-release audits: Templates are reviewed across diverse skin tones and features; failures are fixed or templates are pulled.
    • Change control: Templates can be updated or retired quickly if users report issues.
